This banana orange smoothie is so good it is like dessert.  It can also be Greened Up by adding a handful of baby spinach.  Enjoy this smoothie on a hot summer afternoon, or cold winter evening.. or really anytime because it is THAT GOOD!


Serves 2

1 ripe frozen Banana

1 sweet orange or two clementines

2 medjool dates

½ tablespoon of ground flax seed

½ teaspoon of cinnamon

Vanilla extract to taste

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

½ cup filtered water

½ cup ice

* Optional handful of baby spinach


Blend ingredients in a high speed blender until mixed.  Add ice and blend again.

Drink and enjoy!
