Those cravings for sugary snacks will be crushed after indulging in this delicious chocolate banana smoothie. It is packed with protein thanks to the hemp seeds and filled with antioxidants courtesy of one of my favourite superfoods – cacao. Cinnamon is also my go to spice when I want to suppress those sugar cravings. Who said eating or drinking healthy can’t taste amazing!


Serves 2

2 cups almond milk
3 tablespoons of cacao powder
3 pitted Medjool dates
1 large peeled, frozen or ripe banana
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of Hymalayan pink salt
4 ice cubes



Add ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Add ice and blend again until frosty. Drink and enjoy!
